24/7 OnCall ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered phone answering and text messaging service for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website at www.24-7oncall.ai, call our phone lines, send or receive text messages through our service, or otherwise use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, business name, and business details when you sign up, fill out forms, or contact us.

Information collected during calls: When someone calls a phone line powered by 24/7 OnCall, we collect the caller's phone number (via caller ID), the content of the conversation (processed by our AI), and any information the caller voluntarily provides such as their name, service needs, and contact details.

Information collected via text messages: When you send or receive text messages through our service, we collect the phone numbers involved, message content, timestamps, and any information you provide in those messages. This includes booking confirmations, call summaries, and service-related communications.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

Usage data: We use Vercel Analytics to collect privacy-friendly usage data such as pages visited and device type. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individual users — it collects only aggregated, anonymized traffic data to help us improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: deliver our AI phone answering and text messaging service; send SMS call summaries and booking confirmations to business owners and their customers; send follow-up text messages to callers who interact with our service; track call and text volume for service management; process payments and manage subscriptions; improve our AI and service quality; and communicate with you about your account.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

24/7 OnCall sends text messages in these situations:

Business owner notifications: After each call handled by our AI, we text the business owner a summary including the caller's name, phone number, reason for calling, and urgency level. Business owners provide express written consent to receive these messages by checking an SMS consent checkbox during sign-up at www.24-7oncall.ai/get-started and during onboarding at www.24-7oncall.ai/onboarding.

Caller/customer confirmations: When our AI handles a booking, reservation, or service request, we send the caller a transactional confirmation text from the business's dedicated phone number. Callers provide verbal consent by voluntarily providing their phone number during the call after the AI informs them that a text confirmation will be sent. Callers can decline to provide their number.

Message frequency: Varies based on call volume and interactions. Business owners may receive multiple messages per day. Callers typically receive 1-3 messages per interaction (confirmation, reminder, follow-up).

Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all text messages from that number. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.

5. Information Sharing & Mobile Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We will never share, sell, or distribute mobile phone numbers, opt-in data, or any information collected through our text messaging program with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in consent and phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for the purpose of delivering the 24/7 OnCall messaging service described in this policy.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our platform: Twilio (telephony and SMS delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Vapi (AI voice processing), Anthropic (AI language processing), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data solely on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.

We may also share information when required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect our rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain call data, text message records, and contact information for as long as needed to provide our services and as required by law. Business owners can request deletion of their account data by contacting us. Callers can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure API communications, and restricted access to personal data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You may: request access to your personal information; request correction or deletion of your data; opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message; and contact us with any privacy concerns at support@24-7oncall.ai.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
